All classes are American Red Cross classes and upon successful completion of the class and written/practical exams you will be certified through the American Red Cross.

As the owner and principal instructor of Safety Solved, Laurian Horowitz is able to bring health and safety into the world on a daily basis. In business since 2009 with Colorado Life Lessons, Laurian has trained and certified hundreds of individuals, adults and children alike. Laurian began Safety Solved as a division of Colorado Life Lessons in 2011 to further customize the necessary safety trainings and supplies to corporate and government entities.
As a National Registry, Colorado, & New Jersey Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B), from 2005-2008, Laurian actively responded to emergency calls while working in New Jersey. As an American Red Cross lifeguard instructor since 2008 & swim instructor (WSI certified since 2006), Laurian was able to bring her passion of safety to work, and help families keep their children safe.
Laurian is also passionate about the animal world as well. Laurian is a graduate of the University of Denver with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, as well as having graduated with honors from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology with Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Laurian holds a current Colorado Veterinary Technician Certification.
Colorado Life Lessons & Safety Solved are members of the Better Business Bureau and the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Laurian was named "Best Relationship Builder in Metro Denver" in September 2010 by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Laurian was also recognized in 2011 for "Leadership in Motion" and "Philanthropic Leader of the Year" for her work on the Be Involved. Give. (BIG) Day, where 501 volunteers participated at 23 local nonprofits on April 16, 2011.
On a personal note, Laurian spends her free time with her 4 huskies, enjoys horseback riding, and landscape photography.
